A snappy scuzzed up groove...
SKATERS

Skaters hail from New York City, via Los Angeles and Hull - it's a fairly unusual path, but one that floods in a singular direction.

Scuzzed up skate punk with a torn and tattered sense of groove, the band's live show is all hair, sweat, and gnarly riffs.

New single 'Criminal' feels like an unhinged take on baggy, with Madchester's acquiescence replaced by an up-front sensibility.

Clash is able to premiere the visuals, and it's a curious animated clip that floods the world of Skaters with colour.

Lead guitarist Josh Hubbard explains; "All good things come to an end…and some bad things. You always write a song when you come out of a relationship. Our new gf is way poorer than our ex. This video is another online relationship forged. The outcome...Sick Luton-based artist, Cameron West, kills the visual accompaniment for our new tune Criminal. God bless the internet and God bless America."
