Heavenly indie from Leigh-on-Sea...
Rocket Ship TV

Rocket Ship TV is a new project, with some roots you might well be aware of.

Cult dream pop types Velvet Morning are Clash favourites, with their languid soundscapes recalling a rather more English response to Galaxie 500.

Band mates Samuel Jones and Charlie Carmichael found themselves drawn in another direction, and began sketching out rather more concise yet still off kilter songwriting.

Rocket Ship TV was born out of these instincts. The band's new album drops on May 5th, with the duo set to drop past Southend record emporium South on Record Store Day.

Taking place tomorrow (April 22nd), the celebrations at the store will include exclusive releases and a handful of upfront copies of Rocket Ship TV's new album.

Clash is able to premiere new cut 'Vegan Broadcast' and it's reminiscent of Guided By Voices or even The Fall's more coherent moments.

Tune in now.
