The Vision Crew member releases a soulful fusion of grime and rap...
Ezro

Vision Crew MC and producer, Ezro, has been picking up steam with his debut album 'Ghost In The Blue' recently. The 19-year-old Lewisham native has been building a cult following from his organic fusion of grime flows and hip-hop influenced production, having produced AJ Tracey's breakthrough single 'Spirit Bomb' and displaying a whole spectrum of different influences from soul to anime on his own debut.

Since giving the album a relatively low key release on Trapdoor Records last month, the Next Wave alumni has been getting love for a number of tracks from the record including the Novelist assisted 'Do Not Trouble Me' and 'Dreams From The Hood' which was played on Frank Ocean's Blonded Radio at the weekend.

Today we're premiering the latest video from 'Ghost In The Blue' for the soulful Enrichment-produced 'Do It', which demonstrates Ezro's ability to apply his grimy flow to smooth hip-hop production.

"The song was inspired by the sample in the song saying 'Do It', I wanted to capture how I was feeling at the time," he tells Clash. "I was in a mentality of doing music regardless of situations in my life that could stop me making music. The words 'Do It' are simple but through the sound of the instrumental produced by Enrichment and thinking about what to write then actually recording it, I was able to get a deeper meaning from it for myself and hopefully to everyone who listens to it as well".
