Become acquainted with the Irish songwriter...
Myles Manley (Credit: Conor O'Toole)

Myles Manley uses whatever equipment he had to hand - primarily, because that's all he has.

The Irish songwriter works from his bedroom, creating curious sonic vignettes that flirt with pop before plunging into the left field.

New single 'Pasta Solo' is part of an inventive package from the talented artist, with the midnight blue seven inch vinyl pressing coming equipped with a startling sleeve.

Out shortly, the release will be accompanied by a plethora of dates across the country, with Myles taking his music out on the road.

Clash is able to premiere 'Pasta Solo', and it fuses those wonderful idiosyncrasies into something rather affecting.

Myles explains: "'Pasta Solo' is a song about you being the best and being on a spirit quest. Then there's a bit at the end imploring you not to be such a horrible little shit. I wanted a different singer to do that bit and I asked my friend Nobody to record it on his day off from touring in Ireland and he very kindly said yes. It was such a pleasure."

Tune in now.
