'Me! I Disconnect From You' re-worked...

Originally released back in 1981, Grace Jones' 'Nightclubbing' remains one of the singer's definitive moments.

Recorded at the Compass Point studio, it utilised a crack team of sessions musicians to map out co-ordinates between disco, post-punk, reggae and more.

Tackling a number of different tracks, Grace Jones covered material by artists such as Bill Withers, Flash and the Pan and of course the Iggy Pop-penned title track.

Set to be re-issued on Record Store Day (April 19th) 'Nightclubbing' will come equipped with a host of extras.

Placing a new track online, Grace Jones has unveiled a Gary Numan cover. 'Me! I Disconnect From You' was penned at the height of Numan's synth-led sci-fi fantasies, while Jones' vocal is sheer reggae noir from the off.
