Happy Accidents’ ‘Facts And Figures’ Is A Hella Lotta Fun

It really is, y'know...

These are troubled times we're living through, folks.

Watching the news is akin to switching on a horror movie, with each day seeming to bring more and more depressing headlines.

What the world needs now is a fizzing indie-punk banger, delivered with no small degree of panache and self-deprecating wit.

Thankfully, London trio Happy Accidents are on hand to supply such a tasty morsel. The band's debut album 'You Might Be Right' arrives this Friday (July 1st) via Alcopop! Records, and it's a neat take on current affairs.

'Facts And Figures', the band's Rich Mundell explains, is about “how deflating the daily news cycle can be. We’re constantly barraged with tragedy of all scales in the papers; but it often seems so routine that it’s easy to feel immune to it. We recorded the song last year but it’s felt particularly apt in the last two weeks. It’s really about trying to stay positive when the outside world is too much to handle.”

Check it out now.
