The first names on the line up for The Great Escape have been unveiled - check out a run down below.
One of Europe's biggest music showcase events, The Great Escape is three days of fun by the sea. Occupying virtually every open space in Brighton, the festival is set to return this Spring for another instalment.
This morning (February 12th) organisers unveiled the first names on the line up, with dreamy New Zealand psych pop merchants Unknown Mortal Orchestra leading the way.
Elsewhere, previous Clash cover star King Krule will take part while BRIT Critics Choice winner Tom Odell is also set to perform. Other names on the line up include Eddi Front, Dinosaur Pile-Up, How To Dress Well, Teleman and more.
A word from Festival Director Kat Morris: “The core aim of TGE is to champion new music, and it’s great to be in a position where we can give festival goers an exciting cross-section of new artists to engage with. In our 8th year we are completely focussed on delivering another programme that wholly embodies this ethos, and our initial line-up is full of promise for this year to be one of our best to date.”
