Fat White Family Prepare Split EP

Check out a preview on Clash...

Fat White Family are gearing up to release a new split EP with Tamashud.

South London is a place apart. A sprawling mixture of streets, estates and cultures, it's a dense, borderless maze which applies its own unique style of pressure.

Based in Peckham, Fat White Family could only have come from South London. That ragged, raw, untamed sound could never fit in North of the river, while their refusal to adopt a style immediately divorces them from their Eastern brethren.

Debut album 'Champagne Holocoast' is forthcoming, with the band currently focussed on a split EP with Tamanshud. Due for release on Christmas Day, the band will precede this with new single 'Heaven On Earth'.

Set to be released on November 25th, the single is reminiscent of The Birthday Party at their most unhinged, although there are shades of The Fall in the band's refusal to conform.
