In one fell swoop Taylor Swift returned last night (August 18th) - and landed herself in a race row.

The singer introduced new album '1989' via new single 'Shake It Off', which features Taylor Swift backed by dancers who twerk and jerk.

Borrowing from African-American culture? Well, it landed Lily Allen in hot water...

Earl Sweatshirt spotted the video, and immediately called out Taylor Swift on Twitter.
