Coldplay paid tribute to Viola Beach during an emotional headline slot at Glastonbury last night (June 27th).
The band were joined by a series of guests for their set, with The Bee Gees' Barry Gibb making a rare public appearance.
It was a segment dedicated to Viola Beach, however, that truly brought the house down. The young group were tragically killed earlier this year, with Chris Martin saying a few words of respect.
The frontman told the crowd: "We decided to create Viola Beach's alternate reality and let them headline Glastonbury for a song."
Footage of the band then lit up on the screens, with Coldplay performing along to 'Boys That Sing'.
