Slam Tent reveals line up

British dance icon Carl Cox is set to head up a stunning line up of talent at this year's T In The Park.

Best known for its stellar headliners and new band tents, T In The Park also has a reputation for securing big name dance acts. Each year the Slam Tent is turned into a pounding centre of electronic music, and it seems that 2010 is set to be no exception.

Carl Cox is set to headline the tent, above a glittering array of talent. Emerging when Acid House was at its height, the sheer effortless control exhibited by Cox turned him into one of the country's most in demand DJs.

Pioneering the three deck approach, his virtuoso ability has kept him ahead of the game for two decades. Due to perform at T In The Park, Carl Cox will be joined by techno icon Ritchie Hawtin.

Performing under his Plastikman guise, the Detroit producer will be making a rare journey to these isles. Elsewhere, electro don Erol Alkan will perform while Paul Ritch will supply a live set in the Slam Tent.

Four Tet will make the trip to Balado, fresh from the success of his album 'There Is Love In You'. With the producer's live sets becoming one of British dance music's most discussed events, this is a great opportunity to catch Keiran Hebden in a pulsating environment.

Elsewhere, Manchester hero Greg Wilson is set to appear alongside his famous re-edits while prog-house legend Sven Vath will bring some chilled out grooves.

Andrew Weatherall is planning to rock the house at T In The Park, but whether he will play rockabilly or pulsating techno is still open to conjecture. Whisper voiced Bristol legend Tricky will make a live appearance, shortly after the deluxe re-issue of his debut album 'Maxinquaye'.

T In The Park takes place between July 9th - 11th.
