BBC Halt Josh Homme’s Bedtime Stories

Further instalment will now be broadcast until a later date...

The BBC have called a halt to Josh Homme's stint as a narrator on CBeebie's Bedtime Stories.

The rock frontman recorded his first instalment earlier this year, and its broadcast caused a social media sensation.

Josh Homme recorded two further instalments of Bedtime Stories, but these have now been shelved following events at the weekend.

The singer kicked a photographer's camera during a Queens Of The Stone Age show in California, injuring her in the process.

The photographer Chelsea Lauren has said she intends to file a police report over the incident, which saw her taken to hospital.

A spokesperson for the BBC told the Telegraph that Josh Homme's stint on CBeebies would be shelves "until the matter is resolved".

Josh Homme issued a second, filmed, apology for the incident yesterday (December 12th) in which he labelled himself "a total dick".
