Arcade Fire Outline UK Shows

As 'The Reflektors'...

Arcade Fire have outlined plans for a series of UK shows under their alter ego of The Reflektors.

Secret shows have a rich lineage in rock music. At the height of their tabloid infamy The Sex Pistols took to performing as The S.P.O.T.S. while R.E.M. once organised a London residency as Bingo Hand Job.

Arcade Fire, though, have chosen a rather easier to decipher moniker. The Canadian group have played a number of North American shows as The Reflektors, and now intend to take this incarnation across the Atlantic.

Tweeting details to fans, Arcade Fire have confirmed a short burst of UK shows. Taking place in November, the performances will occupy some of the UK's most historic musical landmarks.

Opening with two shows in London, Arcade Fire will play the Roundhouse on November 11th and 12th. Heading to Scotland, the group will then play two nights at Glasgow Barrowlands before ending the short run of dates at Blackpool's Empress Ballroom.
