With our 104th issue almost on stands, and the weather finally heating up, it’s about time we had a party! On Thursday the 29th of June we're taking over East London's Kamio for an eclectic night of live music, DJs and drinks – and you're more than welcome to join us.

Headlining the evening is Vanessa White, who will be bringing her steamy brand of R&B to the main room. Vanessa split from girl group The Saturdays just over two years ago and refocused on her roots as an R&B singer and songwriter with a pair of EP "chapters". The releases demonstrate her ability to collaborate with cutting edge producers, sprinkled with a bit of '90s nostalgia, to redefine her as one of the country's most promising R&B talents.

YGG – or You Get Grime – deliver exactly what they say on the tin. Having risen to prominence via their prolific appearances on Internet radio, the trio are better known for their improvisational abilities, spraying bars over any riddim and providing an authentic, adrenaline rush of a set that brings the original feeling of grime crashing into 2017.

Quickly gaining a reputation and of the UK's best DJs is Conducta, and a set from him promises the eclectic mix of sounds that you'd want from the ultimate house party. The Bristol DJ and producer mixes old and new sounds and new sounds at a fast pace, with a skill set that far exceeds his years.

Jamz Supernova champions future R&B and soulful, forward-thinking hip-hop on BBC Radio 1Xtra, as well as through her own brand Future Bounce, which sees her throwing parties, curating line-ups and spinning vibesy selections all over London.

Putting quality over quantity at all times, Jelani Blackman has only released a handful of tracks since his breakthrough in 2015. The genre-defying vocalist blends singing, rapping and spoken-word elements over everything from laid-back trip-hop to screwed up jungle.

And if that wasn't enough we have purveyors of 'heartfelt, cathartic, physical dance songs' Nimmo spinning in Room Two as well as our very own Clash DJs keeping the party moving until 1am.

The Clash Summer Party, held in association with Vero, is a free event, but attendance is strictly RSVP only. To guarantee your place on the guestlist, grab a ticket via Skiddle HERE.

There’ll be a free drinks reception when doors open at 6:30pm, with refreshments kindly provided by BrewDog Punk IPA and friends.
