Larmer Tree Festival Welcome Tune-Yards’ Merrill Garbus As Guest Curator

Host of new names added...

Larmer Tree Festival is set to welcome Tune-Yards songwriter Merrill Garbus as guest curator.

The event returns to Larmer Tree Gardens this summer, with the award-winning festival running across the weekend of July 19th – 22nd.

Tune-Yards songwriter Merrill Garbus has been installed as a guest curator, with her scope extending across three stages.

It's a bold move from the festival, which aims to offer a female-forward line up that will run throughout the bill. Merrill Garbus comments:

“It's a great privilege to be involved in the curation of Larmer Tree's programming this year. I was happy to include women artists, all of whom I know from past projects and admire for their unique and brilliant voices, laser-focused on a future that is seldom represented in festival programming. I hope audiences will enjoy these artists as much as I do.”

New names added to Larmer Tree Festival include Ibibio Sound Machine, Goat Girl, Let's Eat Grandma, Public Service Broadcasting, and more.

The new additions join the likes of Norwegian producer Susanne Sundfør, First Aid Kit, and of course a slot from Tune-Yards themselves.

Tickets are on sale now.

Larmer Tree Gardens runs between July 19th – 22nd.
