First wave of artists announced...

Foo Fighters and The Prodigy have been announced in the first wave of artists for Secret Solstice festival.

The Verve’s Richard Ashcroft will also play a set alongside a dance heavy line up with house legends Dusky and Kerri Chandler set to feature.

Radiohead headed up an eclectic 2016 lineup. A strong grime influence will also be present with elder statesmen Foreign Beggars set to play alongside promising grime MCs Dave and Novelist.

The Icelandic festival which has been running since 2014 is set in Iceland’s summer solstice weekend when the sun never sets due to the country’s close proximity to the Arctic Circle.

The natural phenomenon will create a stunning backdrop for what is already shaping up to be a fantastic line up as they bask in 72 hours of never-ending daylight.

Secret Solstice runs between 16th to 18th June 2017.
