Bear’s Den Pick Out Some Bushstock Tips

As the West London event returns...

Bushstock is an annual shindig in West London, an excuse for music fans to come together and explore fresh acts.

Returning once more, the Communion-backed event is set to welcome an astonishingly varied line up to Shepherds Bush.

The Big Moon, Matthew And The Atlas, Hidden Charms, Charlie Cunningham, Bella Figura and more will perform, with Bushstock set to become bigger and better than ever before.

Taking place on June 18th, tickets are already being snapped up by eager fans. Bear's Den are old friends of the Bushstock crew, and kindly picked out five acts to watch at this year's event.

Matthew & The Atlas

THAT VOICE!!! Just released a new album which is amazing and we're so excited to hear it live. He's been one of our favourite songwriters for years now and that new song Elijah is unbelievably good! Cannot wait to see him live with his ridiculously talented band as well. The Mahogany Session version of that track is insane.

Flyte

Our tour manager Benny Curnow first told me about Flyte and i've just been completely blown away by everything i've heard so far. I remember seeing their cover of Arcade Fire's Sprawl on youtube and their harmonies are outstanding. It's a massive tune and they totally made it their own. Not sure if they'll play this one live but their songs are just as badass.

Seramic

So excited about seeing Seramic at Bushstock! Marcus is a good friend of ours and we saw him play at Notting Hill Arts Club last month, it was one of the best things we’ve ever seen live. His energy on stage and Princesque guitar playing is truly astonishing.

MarthaGunn

We love this band from Brighton, we saw them support Ed from Bombay Bicycle Club’s new project Toothless in East London last week and they were amazing. Like a modern day Fleetwood Mac their harmonies are awesome and they’re a brilliant live band. Can’t wait for their show!

Joseph J Jones

We are really excited about Joseph J Jones, his song 'The Video’ is really powerful. He’s a former boxer from Essex who cites Johnny Cash, Frank Sinatra and West Ham United amongst his influences. He’s a brilliant performer, has an incredible baritone voice, and he’s a really good bloke, what more could you ask for!
