Jil Sander’s strictly minimal aesthetic first arrived at Uniqlo in 2009 with the launch of +J, a collaborative line that would run for five seasons until 2011.
Much to the excitement of Sander fans the land over, last year saw the line part re-commissioned in the form of a Best of +J capsule collection, boasting the key Autumn Winter pieces that made the biggest impression the first time around.
A second ‘Best of’ drop arrives today with the release of the SS15 collection. Reflecting the same avant-garde-cum-high quality (primarily) essentials type look adopted by the rest, this latest selection centres on luxury shirting.
Formed of 22 pieces, elsewhere focus is drawn to details such as delicate stitching, collar widths and pleat placement; jackets, trousers and dresses also feature.
