The designer makes his menswear return.

Following a season out in which the designer exclusively focused his attention on the Peter Jensen womenswear line, the Dane resurrects his menswear line for AW15 citing that “menswear has a place in my heart”.

A former menswear student at Central Saint Martins, today he heads the menswear branch of the college’s MA course (from which MAN’s Rory Parnell-Mooney recently graduated), so that the line is back is perhaps no great surprise, though certainly a joy to encounter.

Titled Fred, the collection sees Jensen take apart his 16 year archive, reinterpreting prints and textures such as those from the AW02 ‘Emma’ collection and SS14’s Andy Warhol inspired collection, as well as the SS14 womenswear ‘Diana’ (Ross) offering.

Shot above by Romain Sellier (responsible for last year’s Bernstock Speirs’ short ‘Bunny Love’), the collection boasts a clean palette of burgundy, blue and grey, with graphic prints noted alongside plain jersey and corduroy.

Key characters like Charlie Brown and Linus from the label’s SS15 Peanuts (womenswear) collaboration also make appearances on several pieces.
