Like Beth Ditto and Azealia Banks before them, Archie’s Girls now have their very own M.A.C collection. The girls in question, of the infamous love triangle from the 1940’s Archie Comics series-the flame haired Archie Andrews, girl next door Betty Cooper and vivacious Veronica Lodge-adorn new shades of lipsticks and powders alike.
Based on individuals founder John L. Goldwater met in the American Midwest, the characters made their first appearance in December 1941. Today they’ve been revisited by the M.A.C team for a 32-piece make-up collection to be launched in March.
Those that find themselves near Selfridges however, are in luck, as the store will be running an exclusive two week preview from February 7th. An express lip service will be available at the M.A.C counter, as well as a real life ‘Archie’, who customers can pose with in a photo booth, or kissing booth, should the mood take them. ‘Veronica’ and ‘Betty’ will be there too mind, so don’t get too carried away.
