hummel x atoms x Mila Owen

The trio present the 'Girls Only' pack.

Initially hooking up way back in March – the product of which was the chunky, Globetrotter 28 release – this season hummel and atmos add womenswear label Mila Owen to the international line-up.

Marrying the Danish brand’s 1983 launched Marathona model with a Japanese influence by way of the boutique’s contemporary appeal and Mila Owen’s feminine aesthetic, the result is a two-piece capsule collection of monochrome trainers.

Titled ‘Girls Only’, natch, the new pack above receives a magic wand like approach from collage artist Benjamin Foxwell. London based, Foxwell was one of three young ‘creatives’, joined by photographer Darren Black and collaborators Sirius Film and Alize Demange, tapped to interpret the new pieces.

His re-imagination of the series incorporates an interest in ancient culture, using Japanese and East Asian cultural references alongside bright colours, bold lines and (obvs), the new trainers.
