The footwear label introduces a new women's line.

‘American-Italian style. High-end for the regular guy’, so proposes the Facebook bio of trainer brand Gourmet. Currently though, it’s the label’s womenswear that has our fancy held hostage.

Inspired – they say – by the “influx of women incorporating Gourmet’s original styles into their everyday wardrobe”, AW14 sees the brand introduce the Fusione collection.

The classic 35 style holds court throughout this capsule range, with intense red and bright silver croc and reptilian print, plus 35 Lite AP’s in gold cork and a leopard print suede pair too.

Both exciting and modern, the small line forgoes femininity (in the more traditional, ‘girly’ sense that might see trainers doused in stereotype pinks and purples), instead providing gender neutral shoes in the sizes favoured by female feet.
